What started in 1971 with the Children’s Farms area has grown to be the No. 1 outdoor family attraction in Kansas.

A fifty-foot suspension bridge will take you out of the village atmosphere of Nganda Island and will immerse you in The Downing Gorilla Forest reserve. Watch the gorillas as they forage on the hillside, lounge in the shade and wrestle together.

Discover 2,500 animals of nearly 500 different species all up close and personal. This nationally renowned Zoo has the 17th largest collection in the United States attracting more than 500,000 visitors annually.
