Most Wichita residents rely on private automobiles for travel around the region.  Downtown is a quick 10-minute drive from Eisenhower National Airport and commute times across the city are some of the best in the country.

The Kansas Turnpike (Interstate 35), Interstates 135 and 235, U.S. Route 54/400, and K-96 run through and near the city.

Wichita offers public transportation, rental cars, taxi, limo, private car and charter bus services. Hop on the free Wichita Q-Line for easy travel downtown, or try Bike Share ICT or the city’s electric scooters.
